Project notes
Set on a narrow village lane, GrapeLeaf House replaces the usual hard street wall with a softly undulating parapet that lifts and falls like a leaf in wind. A single circular porthole punctuates the front facade, framing one branch of a tree that overhangs from the neighbour's courtyard.
Inside, rooms are organised around a small inner courtyard so that every part of the house keeps a piece of sky. The palette is intentionally quiet: white render, warm timber doors, and the slow patina of the surrounding earth road.
